During the summer holidays, the College’s 1st XI cricketers travelled to Brisbane to participate in the Christian Brothers Cricket Week. Hosted by Nudgee College, the side played five games in various formats, winning 3 of the games (St Patrick’s Shorncliffe, St Laurence’s Brisbane and St Peter’s Auckland) and losing to eventual finalists Nudgee and Gregory Terrace.
There were a number of excellent performances during the tour, highlighted with the selection of leg-spinner Archer Gray (Year 9,2020) in the Merit Team at the end of carnival. Seamus Meaker and Josh Lee also recorded half-centuries during the week.
