Congratulations to the Class of 2025 on their fine academic results in the Higher School Certificate. In large part their success is due to their work ethic and consistent effort throughout their school life. Their results reflect a wide array of skills and talents, with excellence demonstrated in many subjects.
We are delighted to announce that Lucas Martin has been named College Dux with an outstanding ATAR of 99.35. Christopher Costa is our Proxime Accessit, achieving an exceptional ATAR of 99.2, while Awtel Haddad placed third with an impressive ATAR of 98.95. Additionally, we congratulate Joseph Rigon, Nicholas Macher and Ethan Aflak who placed in the State’s Top Achievers’ List with Joseph coming 10th in Business Studies, Nicholas 6th in Industrial Technology and Ethan 3rd in Information and Digital Technology.
We also pay tribute to our eight students who made the Distinguished All-Round Achievers’ List with each having achieved the top band in at least 10 course units: Michael Atra, Christopher Costa, Awtel Haddad, Joshua Malone, Lucas Martin, Joseph Rigon, Dominic Short and Daniel Terrone.
To date, we are proud to announce that thirty-one students achieved an ATAR of 95 and above and sixty-one students achieved an ATAR of 90 and above. One hundred and eight students made the Distinguished Achievers’ List 248 times, having attained marks of 90% or more in various courses. Overall, the College ranked 67th in the State, an improvement from last year’s ranking of 89th.
There are many students in the HSC cohort who will not rate a mention for a band 6 result, or a high ATAR, yet they have achieved marvelous results and demonstrated tangible gains with their learning. These are the unsung heroes in the HSC and they deserve our equal recognition and applause.
