Last Tuesday morning, the Junior School came alive with all manner of creatures as we celebrated the magic of books with our Junior School Book Character Parade.
There were ‘Oompa Loompas’, ‘Where’s Wallys’, ‘Harry Potters’ and ‘Gangsta Grannies’ around every corner. The boys were especially inspired by the brilliant works of Roald Dahl, Emily Rodda, David Walliams, Dr Suess and J.K Rowling with many showcasing very creative ideas.
It was a wonderful way to honour Book Week, and the fantastic work of Australian authors and illustrators. Let us remember, reading doesn’t just entertain, it fuels our growth and inspires our imaginations!
Congratulations to all students who participated in the parade, we encourage everyone to start planning for 2024!
