A fun day was had by all last Friday, as our senior students attended the 78th Annual Swimming House and Age Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre in Homebush. Congratulations goes to winning house Hickey, reclaiming the House Shield again for the 7th time in the last 10 years. Well done Boys! Coghlan only 72 points behind secured Second place, with Rice coming in Third. From competitive House war cries, to overall excitement and school spirit, the day was a great success. None more so than for Jack Taylor of Year 9, who set a new College record with a time of 24.74 seconds in the 15 years 50m Freestyle (old record stood at 25.53 seconds). An amazing achievement! We congratulate Jack, all of our new College Age Champions and the boys for their enthusiasm.
