On April 29, Year 9 Geography students took part in a fieldwork study of Sydney Olympic Park. Whilst on the trip, students examined historic and current uses of land at the site before investigating strategies that have been used by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority to create a more liveable and sustainable community. The fieldwork trip enabled the students to acquire geographical information related to the causes and consequences of urbanisation which they will be able to apply throughout their Term 2 topic, Changing Places.
