On Friday 11 August, four Year 9 Geography classes visited Sydney Olympic Park to undertake a fieldwork investigation. Students examined the historical and contemporary uses of land and resources in the area, explored the challenges and opportunities facing current and future populations and learned how Sydney Olympic Park has become a livable and sustainable community for many people. The trip enabled our students to develop their knowledge and understanding of the Changing Places topic currently being studied in class. The students will use this learning experience to help them complete an upcoming assessment task on the sustainable future of Sydney.
