Old Boys Shine in Glasgow

Glasgow shone a little brighter thanks to three outstanding Old Boys who represented Australia with pride at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Paul Trainor (’20)
Making his Commonwealth Games debut, Paul impressed in the Light Heavyweight division, recording victories to progress through the tournament and secure a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in the men’s 80kg event, a tremendous achievement for the young boxer.

Christopher Ius (’18)
Chris played an important role in Australia’s historic Men’s 4×100m Relay campaign, helping the team qualify for the final before the Australians claimed the nation’s first Commonwealth Games gold in the event in 52 years. Congratulations on being part of an unforgettable achievement!

Se-Bom Lee (’19)
Se-Bom once again demonstrated his class on the international stage, finishing 4th in the Men’s 200m Backstroke and 6th in the Men’s 400m Individual Medley, continuing an outstanding career representing Australia.

We are incredibly proud of Chris, Se-Bom and Paul for representing Australia with distinction and inspiring the next generation. We congratulate them on their outstanding Commonwealth Games campaigns!
