Scholarship Opportunities

External Students Application

The selection criteria, in order of importance, for the 2027 McGlade Academic Scholarship, is as follows:

Scholarships will be awarded primarily on student performance in the Scholarship Examination conducted by Academic Assessment Services.

  • The highest overall combined performance in the Scholarship Examination, covering Abstract Reasoning and Problem Solving, Mathematics Achievement and Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Written Expression, conducted by Academic Assessment Services.

Successful students must also demonstrate:

  • Excellent academic achievement in school-based assessment. 
  • A strong record of positive behaviour towards students and College staff. 
  • Participation in, and contribution to, the Shining our Light (SOL) Service program, or an equivalent program at their current school. 
  • Participation in, and contribution to, a range of cocurricular activities.

Scholarship deliberations and decisions are made by the Scholarship Review Committee, comprising the Principal as Chair, Deputy Principal, Director of Curriculum, Director of Identity, Director of Co-Curricular and Year 10 Coordinator.
