We commemorated Ash Wednesday with a Liturgy in Homerooms today, while our Year 12 students gathered in the Chapel. The Liturgy reminded us all of our purpose during Lent, a time we dedicate to prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Part of our Liturgy also called on us to care for our earth; God’s creation, with each Homeroom planting a seedling in front of the Chapel that will grow throughout Lent. We especially pray for world peace and for all those families most in need of comfort, help and hope.
