One thing that St Patrick’s College does well, is bringing people together to promote a unified voice. On Wednesday 12 February, the College hosted the 2020 Young Leaders’ Afternoon where student leaders from various secondary schools attended. The theme for the afternoon was leadership through action, complementing this year’s theme, ‘let us love not in word or speech, but in truth and action (1 John 3:18).
The Year 12 Student Leadership Team helped lead discussions surrounding how and why action in leadership is valuable in cultivating positive change in and beyond school. The afternoon also gave us the opportunity to engage in team building activities to help foster positive peer relationships.
