Our Year 6 boys celebrated the end of their Junior School days with a wonderful liturgy in the College Chapel. As always, the Mass was presided over by Father Jack who spoke meaningfully to the boys about how their journey at St Patrick’s had reached a significant milestone but there was still a lot more to come. He also encouraged them to remember their faith. The Choir prepared so wonderfully by Miss Grape sang beautifully and were ably backed up by the boys in the congregation who sang with full voice.
Other highlights of the Mass were the gospel procession where Mr Munday symbolically handed over the care of the Junior boys to Dr Wattam. The presentation of the Graduation certificates was proceeded by a class PowerPoint and was a great way to finish the liturgy.
Thank you to all boys and Year 6 teachers for making this such a meaningful celebration.
