On Friday 24 August, approximately 80 staff and students from Years 5-12, slept outside at the College in order to gain an insight of what the homeless go through each and every night. We shared a simple meal, discussed the factors of homelessness, engaged with each other and endured the night on cold, hard pavers. As well as the development of empathy, those involved raised over $3,500 for homeless services in Sydney. The experience was a successful and eye-opening one.
