College Board
The Board, acting within the spirit and bounds of the Board Constitution, is the embodiment of collaborative governance of the College. The Board provides the means by which the Mission of the Christian Brothers, the obligations to Society and best management practices are given witness in the formation of policies for effective an efficient College Management.

The Board’s primary role will be consultative to the Province

Leadership Team and to the Principal. The Board will, subject to the Province Leadership Team policy, exercise the following duties and functions in collaboration with the Principal.

  1. Providing educational services which derive their value from the Catholic Church in the tradition of the Christian Brothers and which are designed so as to respect and enhance the individual dignity of each human person.
  2. Promoting and maintaining good relations with Catholic Educational Bodies, Diocesan agencies, Governments, government instrumentalities, institutions, organisations, the teaching profession, the College Community and the public in general.
  3. Participating in the development of and regularly reviewing the Mission Statement and Strategic Plan of the College.
  4. Determining fiscal policy, financial planning and financial management of the College.
  5. Advising and making recommendation to the Province Leadership Team on construction, development, maintenance and other matters within its duties.

The College Board consists of no more than12 members duly appointed by the Province Leader. Members of the Board will consist of persons as follows:

  • Board Chair.
  • Deputy Chair.
  • Board Secretary.
  • Finance Committee Chairman.
  • Buildings and Grounds Chairman.
  • Province Leadership Team Representative.
  • Local Community Leader.
  • Ordinary Members.
