Les Miserables - 2007 College Musical

The College Musical is an annual event that begins auditions and rehearsals during Term 4 and is performed the following year in early Term 2. The cast is open to all St Patrick’s students and girls from local schools are invited to audition as well. Each year, a musical is selected to showcase the students’ talents in singing, dance and drama and to give students the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. Selected students also provide the music for the show and rehearse on a weekly basis to ensure a quality performance on the night. The production is always a highlight for all students involved, creating lasting memories of fun and mayhem!

The College musical also provides an opportunity for students studying the Entertainment Course for their HSC in regards to backstage, sound, lighting, props, etc.

The College has performed many well-known musicals and they are always of a high standard. Recent productions include Les Miserables (2007), Grease (2006), Disco Inferno (2005), Footloose (2004) and Jesus Christ Superstar (2003).
