The Raymer Library is an area to Explore, Engage
and Discover the magic of books. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to use the resources available to them. The Raymer Library provides students with access to 16 computers, as well as the opportunity to watch DVDs, videos and guided ICT lessons on the ceiling mounted data projector and surround sound system. All boys in the Junior School participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. The CollectionFiction: a dynamic collection that is constantly growing. It offers a wide section of authors and genres to cater for all interests. Students are encouraged to borrow at least two books from the fiction section each week Non-Fiction: Books in the collection provide resource materials for class work, research assignments and areas of special interest. If books are unavailable, students may place these on reserve. Reserve requests will be processed and the item will be provided to you when it first becomes available.
Items Not For Loan.These items may only be used within the Library. Reference: Examples include encyclopedias, dictionaries and other books marked reference. The Raymer Library also contains a collection of teacher reference material. This includes item such as DVDs, videos, CD-ROMs, reference books, educational games and class novel sets and book boxes.
